Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FindMyTrainer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.

Description of Service

FindMyTrainer is a platform that connects fitness enthusiasts with certified personal trainers. We facilitate bookings, payments, and communication between users and trainers. We do not employ trainers directly; they are independent service providers.

User Accounts

To use certain features of our platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Trainer Responsibilities

Trainers using our platform agree to:

• Provide accurate information about their qualifications and certifications
• Maintain appropriate professional liability insurance
• Deliver services as described in their profile
• Respond to booking requests in a timely manner
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

User Responsibilities

Users booking sessions agree to:

• Provide accurate health information to trainers
• Attend booked sessions on time
• Pay for services as agreed
• Treat trainers with respect and professionalism
• Consult a physician before starting any fitness program

Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through our payment partner Razorpay. Each trainer chooses one of the cancellation policies below, and the one shown when you book is the one that applies to that booking — even if the trainer changes it later:

• Flexible: Full refund up to 6 hours before, 50% after
• Standard: Full refund up to 24 hours before, 50% after

These policies apply once a trainer has confirmed your booking. A booking your trainer hasn't confirmed yet is always refunded in full when you cancel it, whatever their policy and however close to the session — and a package session goes back into your package. A trainer can confirm a booking up to 1 hour before it starts; if they haven't by then, it is cancelled and refunded in full automatically once the session time has passed. Whatever the policy, a booking the trainer declines is refunded in full, and nothing is refunded once a confirmed session has started. Where a trainer hasn't chosen a policy, Standard applies. You cancel from My bookings, and refunds go back to your original payment method, usually arriving within 5–7 working days. Trainer Earnings and Payouts

Clients pay FindMyTrainer, through Razorpay, and we pay trainers for the sessions they complete. FindMyTrainer currently deducts 8% commission and 2% payment processing from each session fee it collects. The rate applied to a session is the one in force when it was booked — for a package session, when the package was bought — so a change never reaches a session already booked. Sessions booked before we charged a commission carry none.

• A trainer is paid for each completed session: its fee, including any travel fee, less anything refunded to the client, less the deductions above. A package session earns an equal share of what the package cost.
• A free intro session earns nothing, because nothing was charged for it. A booking that was cancelled or declined isn't paid out, even where the cancellation policy meant the client got back less than they paid.
• A session whose refund is still being processed is held until it settles. If a session is refunded after it has been paid out — a no-show, for example — the refunded share is deducted from the trainer's next payout.
• Payouts go to the UPI ID or bank account the trainer adds in their settings, and each comes with an emailed statement listing its sessions and the bank reference. Every session, deduction and payout is also on the trainer's Earnings page.

Limitation of Liability

FindMyTrainer is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from training sessions. Users participate in fitness activities at their own risk. Trainers are independent contractors and are solely responsible for the services they provide.

Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or trainers
• Attempt to bypass our payment system
• Post false or misleading information
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform

Intellectual Property

All content on FindMyTrainer, including logos, design, and text, is the property of FindMyTrainer and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
